Whether your on the original Xbox One, the stylish One S or the powerful X, Xbox has amazing exclusives to try out. Due to Microsoft's Play Anywhere, some of the exclusives here are also found on the PC. This list focuses on exclusivity among consoles namely PlayStation 4. Ok, Lets Go!
The Forza Series (MotorSport/ Horizon) - Forza is a racing simulator game that changes its focus (in terms of the environmental design) annually. Forza motorsport is centered on track racing whereby as a player, you are able to race on the biggest and best official tracks around the world. Horizon series on the other hand focuses on open-world racing where one is given freedom to pursue off-road and street races. Both are great versions of the series and it boils down to preference.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) - This battle royale game began as a PC exclusive as an early access game. In 2017, it was launched on Xbox One with a ton of issues and performance hitches. A few months later, and Bluehole company have made incredible strides towards a more stable game. It is still in the early stages of early access with maps like Miramar yet to be released on console. If you own the X, then the game will run even better and at native 4k with HDR support.
Gears of War 4 - This addition to the series focuses on the next generation of bulky lovable super soldiers. In this timeline, the Locust are gone but the struggle for survival is far from over. With new threats such as the machines controlled by a 'world authority' that seeks to bury some truths. We get to see this new generation kick-ass and bond through spilling blood for family and humanity. In 2018, we might see the newest iteration to the series at the E3 convention. If you own the X, get ready for an amazing ride!
Cuphead - This platformer is more than a distinctive and beautiful art style, it's a mix of bullet hell style bosses and tricky platforming that'll challenge the best of you. It comprises of well balanced mechanics that cater to a mixed range of abilities and options that encourage replays. It also has coop where you can go adventure with a friend, as well as being well presented throughout with that gorgeous presentation extending to the music and more. Xbox One X Enhanced.
Ori & the Blind Forest - Have you ever played an Indie game and when it ended, a little piece of you died with it? That's how we felt after Ori & the Blind Forest. This beautifully orchestrated and designed platform-adventure Metroidvania game will take your breath away but apart from the visually stunning design, the game progression and story is amazing. You're Ori, an orphan who rises to fight a dark nemesis (Kuro) and saving the dying forest. As if this were'nt already a sad beginning, every trial you endure takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. The only hope we have to fill the void Ori and the Blind Forest left in our hearts is its sequel: Ori and the Will of The Wisps (coming this year).
